The North Star House is a hidden gem in the hills of Grass Valley. Built in 1905, it was designed by Julia Morgan- California’s first licensed female architect, and the visionary behind Hearst Castle. The house was originally home to the superintendent of the North Star Mine, one of the most successful gold mines in the state. With its charming old-world architecture and peaceful setting, it’s a beautiful mix of California history and natural beauty- an amazing place to celebrate with the people we love.
