We're getting married!

Avery and Bella's story is the classic "they became really close friends and one of them was in love with the other the whole time." Avery played the long game and her determination to be with Bella was nothing less than romance novel worthy. They met in 7th and 8th grade in basketball practice, but became acquaintances in 10th and 11th grade. Their friend groups meshed and they were constantly going hammocking, attending football games, and even went as far as becoming shooting partners. Avery's first impression of Bella was she "never broke the rules, was always happy and was also very closed off." This intrigued her because Bella was a big mystery that she was drawn to solve. Bella's first impression of Avery was she "was the classic class clown, rambunctious and was always down to do something fun." This intrigued her because she craved the fun energy Avery brought to her life. Acquaintances turned into friends, which turned into best friends. Queue February 2020, Bella and Avery were talking to different people. At this point, Avery believed being with Bella was a story that belonged in a fantasy book, and that being best friends was good enough for her to keep her in her life. However, that didn't stop Avery for showing her admiration in the background. Avery made Bella a Valentine's Day gift and would draw her little cartoon animals because she knew she loved them. Three weeks after Valentine's Day, Avery decided to finally confess her feelings to Bella. The weight of crushing on Bella for more than three years was too much to handle and Avery would rather be rejected than keep it a secret any longer. She sent a Snapchat chat expressing her feelings and Bella responded "Oh so you fell for my charm." (Yes, Bella realizes now that was a douche response). Avery took this as a good sign because she wasn't automatically rejected. Until a week later, Bella said no. Yes. Bella did reject Avery... at first. Queue March 2020, Covid started and closed the schools down. Bella had a lot of time to think, and she realized that Avery did check all her boxes on her "must meet this criteria list" (which was a very very long list). She realized her mistake and asked Avery for another chance. Avery may have been the pursuer in the beginning, but Bella knew she found herself a keeper that she would never let go. Since March 25, 2020, Bella and Avery have been inseparable. They attended Oklahoma State University together, made new friends, bought a house, and made a little family with two dogs. They also push each other to not stay stagnant, but to continue to grow and are each other's biggest supporter. Their closest friends and family will say they bicker like an old married couple and are constantly joking around with each other. I guess you can say the Friends to Lover Trope will have you on your toes for the rest of your life, but at least you're doing that life with your best friend :) Avery and Bella are very excited to celebrate this special day with everyone and they thank you for supporting and loving them into their next chapter of life <3
