Incase you need a place to escape for a few hours, let the kids run, get the dogs out, and/or go for a nice outdoor walk here are a few suggestions:

Bringle Lake Park East

Perfect place to let the kids burn off steam or go for a hike on Bringle Lake Trail.

Bringle Lake Park West

7602 University Avenue, Texarkana, TX 75503

Both Bringle Lake Parks have free parking available. There is a trail connecting Bringle Lake Park West to East. Both are fun for the kids. The trails will be found at Bringle Lake Park West.

Spring Lake Park

4303 North Park Road, Texarkana, TX 75501

Spring Lake Park provides a larger selection of playgrounds and a great walking path around a large pond. Spring Lake Park features a spring fed lake, open green spaces with picnic areas, playground units, a splash pad (not open in April), dog park, fishing piers, and an 18 hole disc golf course. Be sure to look into fishing regulations if you would like to take the opportunity to bring the fishing pole.
