The West Coast reception will be held at the Log Hall at Kitsap Memorial State Park, WA. The East Coast reception will be held at the First Unitarian Universalist Church in Providence, RI. Details about each of these events are still being worked out, so stay tuned for more info!
Yes, you are welcome to bring a plus one, but please RSVP for everyone you’re bringing so we have enough food and stuff!
Yes, children are welcome to attend!
There will be gluten free options at both events. We will do our best to accommodate other food allergies and dietary restrictions. Please let us know about dietary restrictions when you RSVP.
Kitsap Memorial State Park: We will not be providing or serving any alcohol. Limited BYOB (beer or wine, please no liquor) is acceptable, please don’t get us kicked out of the state park! We will have plenty of non alcoholic beverage options. Providence, RI: TBD
The dress code is comfortable. Please dress comfortably and appropriately for the occasion. If you’d like to dress up, we recommend: For the West Coast party, think Carhartt formal. For the East Coast party, think cocktail casual.
West coast: There is day parking at Kitsap Memorial State Park next to the Log Hall. It is first come, first served and shared with the rest of the day use area. If possible, consider carpooling as the lot may fill up. You will need a WA state parks Discover Pass, you can purchase a day pass for $10 at the park. East coast: there’s a modest parking lot at the church, and limited street parking in the surrounding neighborhood.
Both events will have indoor locations, so the party will continue - rain or shine!
