My friend Becky had been trying to introduce me to John for awhile. I finally went to the VFW on July 19th to meet Becky so she could introduce me to John. John came up to the table and the first thing he asked me is if I was stalking him on Facebook. I wasn’t sure if I was going to go out with him, but after talking all week after we met, we went on our first date.

John picked me up and he had purple flowers and homemade gluten free shortbread cookies he had made. He met my mom and a few of my my daughters Nicole’s friends who were over for a swimming party. We went to eat at a restaurant that served Mediterranean food then we went for a walk in Garden City at a park. A great first date.
