You know when people mention "I have a friend, of a friend, of a friend who knows..?" You could say that is the short version of how John found Emily. On an unintentional but surely fated course these two paths crossed. Emily, was semi fresh out of college and on her way to a masters program with no idea that the love of her life was waiting patiently for his chance to capture her heart. John knew there was something incredibly special about Emily - but would she give him the chance? After some asking around turns out John and Emily had some close mutual friends. And at their recommendation as a local police officer and all around professed great guy Emily was willing to take a chance. After just a few dates it was clear that Emily and John had an instant and deeply strong connection. The two have spent the last 5 years traveling up and down the east coast spending summers on Lake Winnipesaukee and the winters skiing the White Mountains. Somewhere in between making lasting memories with their beloved dog daughter Winnie and with their close friends & family spread between their respective hometowns of Mansfield and Dracut the two decided it was time to move in with each other. They most recently bought their first home together in Methuen, MA where they made sure Winnie had one of the biggest yards on the block. In December 2022, John decided on the most perfect Holiday gift he could possibly give - asking Emily to marry him. These two continue to blossom both in their respective careers and with each other. Emily now as a full time occupational therapist and running her own personal training business for adults and neurodivergent youth. And John's most recent promotion to Detective with the Dracut Police Force. These two show no signs of taking their feet off the gas. Keeping in mind they will obey all posted speed limits.
