Chris and B' initially met while working. B' worked at Boutique 602 next door to Miller Hardware where Chris works. Chris also lives on the same street. One day while Chris was driving by, he saw B' in the yard and thought she was cute. They encountered each other during work hours when B' was sent over to the hardware store to get items, or Chris had to return rogue empty boxes back to Boutique 602. But, they were both too shy to talk much to each other. During Celebration weekend in 2022, they ran into each other 3 times in one day and B' took a chance and friended Chris on Facebook. He messaged her and they chatted. Then he asked her out on a date to go watch the fireworks at Lake Waconda. But....before that could happen, he asked her out to lunch on a last minute whim. This started an everyday occurrence of lunch dates that continues to this day. They did go on their "official" date to the fireworks as well.......and the rest is history. B' feels so lucky that God brought Chris her way and knew he was "the one" pretty quickly. Chris felt so comfortable with B' that he once told her that their relationship "felt like home". They both would say that the other one makes them a better person. When considering wedding dates, they chose the 1 year anniversary of their "impromptu" date. They look forward to a life filled with adventure, children, animals and eventually a small farm.
