We first met while serving our missions in Salt Lake City and quickly became good friends. Throughout our missions we spent time serving around each other and built a strong friendship, even though we didn’t realize at the time that it would end up turning into something more. After we both got home from our missions we decided it would be fun to go on a date and see what happened. Our first date happened while B'Elanna was actually really sick, but we still had a great time walking around IKEA and sharing Swedish meatballs together. One date turned into two, then three, and before long we were officially dating. For the next year we dated long distance, spending time on FaceTime, planning visits back and forth from Provo and Rexberg, and counting down the days until we could see each other again. Eventually, Callan made the move to Provo so we could finally be in the same place. Being together in person made it clear how strong our relationship is. What started as a mission friendship slowly turned into the relationship we have today, and we’re so grateful for the path that brought us here. We're beyond excited to celebrate with everyone at the wedding.
