Chicago has two airports, O'Hare (ORD) and Midway (MDW), and both are well connected to downtown. If you have flexibility when booking, Midway is the closer of the two at about 30 minutes to the Chicago Athletic Association hotel. O'Hare is a bit further out, typically around 45 minutes depending on traffic. Uber, Lyft, and taxis are readily available at both.

Our recommended hotel is right at the venue, so we won’t be providing transportation to and from other hotels. The venue is easily accessible by car, taxi, or rideshare (Uber/Lyft), and we recommend rideshare to avoid downtown parking.
Valet Parking: Available 24/7 at the Chicago Athletic Association, 71 E Madison, for $84.00 per night, per vehicle with unlimited in and out privileges. Public Parking Garages: There are numerous parking garages within a short walk of our venue. Rates vary by location and time of day.
No. Guests will select their entrée during the reception rather than in advance. If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, please include them with your RSVP so we can accommodate you.
While a few little ones will be part of the wedding party and reception, our celebration is otherwise adults-only. We appreciate your understanding!
Early October in Chicago typically brings daytime temperatures in the low to mid-60s, though warmer days are certainly possible. Evenings can cool down quickly, so we recommend bringing a light jacket or wrap, especially if you plan to spend time outdoors.
We kindly ask guests to arrive by 4:00 pm to allow time for travel, finding your seat, and getting settled before our 4:30 pm ceremony. All wedding day events will take place on the 8th floor of the Chicago Athletic Association.
