We share a friendship since high school. We also share clothes and a sense of humor. Annette has been my best friend, my biggest fan, my stylist, and oftentimes, a great comfort. We have looked out for each other since the beginning, and I hope to remain a beacon and pillar to her in the future! Sometimes I think of our time together has been recorded, it could surely complete with the series, Friends, or at least a best selling book of strange, yet glorious events!

My work bae, my muse, my G, my consolidator of truth. Other than my mother, Gavin is the biggest supporter of my craft. He will not allow me to believe that I have failed and taught me that every 'try' is a step to artistic, spiritual and interpersonal glory. Gavin is my most true example of Jesus loving and accepting the "other", he is one of my realest friends and he all-lovingly encourages me to be better in all aspects of life. Gavin is also a vegan, but he won't tell you. This makes Gavin a champion.

My boetie-ballas, my sisters keeper, my groot boetie. Jan-Louis is no normal engineer. He makes great dad jokes, is a master puns-man and is exceptional with human interaction. He is a man of valour and has taught me the meaning of integrity. He graciously holds me accountable to my convictions and supports my somewhat odd aspirations. He is the only man I know to pass the test to lead, cherish and appreciate my dear sister for who she is. Jan-Louis' blood is my blood.

Wouter ryhmes with stoute-kabouter. I warn you, this is exactly the case. Just look at that mischievous smile? Wouter is laid back, yet very present in mind. He is observant and is great at including the underdog. He has the most manly stance in all of the earth's choirs, wide-legged, bold and proud just as he thinks of himself and ought to. I look forward to having another older brother, bring forth the brandy boet!
