What is the dress code?

Answer

The theme is "classic San Francisco" and "dress your best." Long story short, this is a formal event.

Is the reception far from the ceremony?

Answer

No! The reception is a 10-15 minute walk (depending on your stride) from the ceremony. The Golden Gate Yacht Club is the smaller club down Yacht road near the St. Francis Yacht Club. Walk toward the "Wave Organ"!

Are children invited?

Answer

As much as we love your kids, we do not have the space to have any children or babies come. We realize how much of an obstacle this can be for many of you, so please don't hesitate to reach out to us via email or telephone.

Do I have to stay at the Mark Hopkins Hotel?

Answer

While it is not mandatory, it is encouraged! We will also be staying there and have reserved a hotel block, so the prices will be slightly less than they are listed on their site. Our after-party will also occur here, so you may want to stay.

Can I drive to the Palace of Fine Arts?

Answer

Yes! While ample parking is at the Palace of Fine Arts, there isn't at the reception. In fact, it is quite limited. If you are planning on drinking, we recommend taking a cable car, taxi, or bus to the venue. San Francisco has good public transit, so there is no need to feel limited by transport.
