Our Story
In 2024, Bekah and her parents met Elizabeth and Lance Edwards (Ashton's parents) on a ministry trip. They bonded over medical missions, blackberry bourbon smashes, and wandering the streets of various European towns together. After the trip, the Edwards mentioned meeting Bekah to Ashton. Thanks to technological advancement, Ashton (in South Africa) was able to connect with Bekah (in Tennessee). Get to know you texts quickly turned into calls, videos, and virtual dates.
After a year of dating across miles and visiting each other with multiple cross country trips, Ashton surprised Bekah by proposing in Tennessee just days before she was planning to meet him in Zimbabwe!
You might notice our logo of a heart with two flowers! The top flower is the Zimbabwean national flower, a Flame Lilly. The bottom flower is a Tennessee Dogwood.
