No! With the exception of a few select guests, the ceremony will be standing room only! Guests will line the aisle and fill in as the bride is escorted down. The ceremony will start promptly at 6:00 so all guests should be there and lined up prior to that. No late comers will be allowed in the ceremony space until the processional has ended.
Yes! We encourage it! There will be time throughout the night to do this. Please be aware - full park access will be permitted until roughly 20 minutes to sunset. Don't forget we still want to see you on the dancefloor with us, though!
The ceremony will be on the path to Africa by the giraffes. When arriving at the zoo, please proceed directly to that area. Please stay clear of the aisle and line the sides. Guests will fill in after the bride processes down. Ceremony will be started promptly at 6:00pm. All guests should be there at that time. The reception will be held on the rooftop of the Savana Cafe building. Proceed into the building and up the stairs/escalator and out on to the roof.
Yes, the wedding is outdoors! In the event of rain, we recommend bringing an umbrella as you navigate the zoo. The ceremony space has an open air, hard top and we can fit as many people as we can under it. The reception space also has an open air, hard top covering the entire rooftop. Hopefully it doesn’t rain sideways!
Yes! Parking is available free of charge at our venue. A shuttle will also be provided for hotel guests!
Dinner will be served buffet style with a few options to choose from. Drinks will include soda and water, as well as beer and wine from the bar. Unfortunately, no hard liquor can be served.
