No we don't expect that of anyone! Those are the dates that Chris and Taylor are staying. However, we really hope that you attend the welcome dinner, ceremony, reception, and brunch if it is possible with your schedules. We want everyone to get acquainted with one another and we believe by everyone attending these events that we can achieve the merging of our families!
No! But you are welcome to eat at the tavern whenever you'd like. Dinner will be provided at the welcome party and reception. Breakfast will be provided at the thank you brunch. You might be saying to yourself "but that only covers 3 meals..." While that is true, we are staying in a guest house that has a full kitchen. We will be providing sandwiches, cheese trays, veggie trays, pizzas, etc.. that will be available to anyone! If you have any special requests or ideas of foods you'd like in the house please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your requests.
The welcome dinner is semi-casual attire, think sundresses, linen pants, button ups, etc. The ceremony and reception is semi-formal attire, think dresses, dress pants, button ups, suit jackets (although one is not required), etc. Other than those 2 events, bring whatever you will be comfortable in! The weather will be hot and most activities available are outside. Think of clothes that you'd be comfortable lounging in or doing outdoor activities such as hiking (yes, there are tons of trails!). It may be a good idea to bring rain attire in case you have booked activities and it's raining out. Most importantly, don't forget a bathing suit (or 2)!! We have a private pool and hot tub at the guest house we are staying at. Everyone is welcome to use it whenever they please.
There will be a shuttle that will pick you up no matter where you are staying and drive you to the welcome dinner, ceremony, and reception. The only exception would be the thank you brunch at the Bergamot house. Not to worry, there is plenty of parking available if you'd like to drive your car over. It is also walkable, just a bit up-hill and gravel.
Taylor will be getting ready at the Bergamot house with her bridesmaids and mother. The on site salon is traveling to the house to do their hair and make-up. Taylor would like to welcome all ladies to join us in getting ready at the Bergamot house. This is optional but we will provide snacks and mimosas! We will then be shuttled to the Knoll for the ceremony, which starts at 4:30pm. The shuttle will pick up all guests, just let the couple know in advance if you'd like to be picked up. After the ceremony, we are NOT having a cocktail hour because everyone who is invited to our wedding will be in our wedding photos. We will take some time to do family portraits and what not. Next, we will all be shuttled to the Bergamot house for the reception dinner, which will begin at 6pm. Here we will eat, drink, and be merry! Servers will be in the house till 9pm. We are ready to party all night so if you want to bring comfy clothes to change into after dinner please do. You can drop these off beforehand if you'd like.

A lot of the activities require advance booking so make sure you plan ahead!
