Sally chose the name Vera, latin for truth, about two and half years ago. The story in a nutshell is that she never has felt like "Sally," and Vera is the name that makes her feel truly herself. The decision to ask friends and family to use Vera was a thoughtful one, made after talking with her mom and family. She knows it can be tough to wrap your brain around a name change, and will not be offended if you call her Sally.
We hired a tattoo artist who specializes in event tattoos in lieu of having traditional favors for our guests! Chayse Taylor (@sadboitattoo) is putting the finishing touches on our custom event flash as we speak. You'll be able to choose one of the designs and be tatooed for FREE at our Boogie!
We're planning a variety of "heavy appetizers," think meatball sliders, snacky finger food, and pigs-in-a-blanket, lol! Probably a good idea to not arrive ravenous, but we'll feed ya!
We'll provide water, soda, some mocktails and adult beverages. That said, you are more than welcome to bring your favorite something special for you to drink if you'd like!
