We first met at a Super Bowl party at Bridgewater State University. Our mutual friend, Melissa, had invited Faith, and Mike happened to be living there at the time. Faith thought Mike was cute right away, and when she got up to grab something and came back, the only seat left was next to him. Despite Faith having a terrible cold (Mike's smooth opening line was, "Sounds like you have a bad cold"), we hit it off! It was a memorable night, with the Patriots making that incredible comeback against the Falcons. At the end of the party, Faith snuck out without saying goodbye to anyone, but Mike had already told Melissa that he thought Faith was cute. After some playful "hard to get" from Faith, Mike finally convinced her to go on a date shortly after Valentine's Day. He planned a romantic ice skating outing in Boston, but Faith was so nervous that all she could think about was how hungry she was! They ended up leaving the rink early to find food, but Faith could only manage a few bites of pasta. Thankfully, the car ride to and from Boston was filled with great conversation, and that's where we really connected. After graduating from Bridgewater, Faith landed a job in Boston, and we took a leap of faith (pun intended!) and moved to Brighton, where we've been living for the past six years. Seven years after that fateful Super Bowl party, we're thrilled to be taking the next step in our relationship and tie the knot! We can't wait to celebrate with all of you!
