Mary Kate & Tyler's Wedding

FAQs

If you have any questions other than what we listed, please feel free to reach out to the bride and groom through text or email (beggschaffee@gmail.com).
Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Please note all food allergies when selecting your dinner entree option. Most options are naturally gluten-free, dairy-free, and nut-free already.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is a small parking lot located on the venue property. That said, we do recommend using a ride share service or carpooling as parking spots will be limited.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, our ceremony will take place outside in the grass. Cocktail hour will take place inside the venue. The reception will be held outside on the patio under a tent. While we will have a wood dance floor, the rest of the reception will be grass covered. For that reason, stiletto or otherwise-thin heels are not recommended.

Question

What is the weather like?

Answer

The average temperature in July is high 70s low 80s. The venue is off the water so expect a cool ocean breeze as the night continues.

Question

What is the nearest airport?

Answer

T.F. Green Airport (Providence) is 33 minutes from Newport. Logan International (Boston) is 1 hour and 30 minutes from Newport.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is Summer Formal Ladies - Full length or maxi length dresses. Gentlemen - Suit and Tie, summer suits recommended.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP before June 6th to ensure our catering team can properly account for everyone.

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

Besides our recommended hotels we urge our guests to look into small boutique hotels and Air BnB's throughout Newport and Middletown.
