Megan and Cory have known each other since they were kids. Because c’mon, who doesn't know the Beesmers? With Cory being three years older, they never ran among the same crowds. Megan remembers visiting the Beesmer household for parties and of course to see the litters of German Shorthaired Pointer puppies! Their friendship began to grow in 2018, as Megan began "third wheeling" Cory and Andrew Doyle. Megan heard all their crazy stories and watched several unfold. Megan even (regretfully) tried to set Cory up 3 times (with good contenders!) but he assured her he “didn’t have time for a girlfriend.” While Megan finished her undergrad in Plattsburgh, rumor back in West Hurley was that the two were an item. One night, Cory showed up to the Wiacek house to pick Megan up… only this time he was in his 1998 BMW- which Megan always said was the best year yet! He picked her up to go to Taco Night with the boys…only, the boys weren’t there. When questioned, Cory responded stating he wasn’t sure if Megan had wanted them there. After dinner, Cory drove the “shortcut” home. Their friendship naturally became something more and soon after, Cory asked Megan to attend a family wedding with him…funny how he had all this time for her! Through countless nights with her college girlfriends- they assured her that Cory was her boyfriend! COVID hit, Megan came home from Plattsburgh, and it was love after lockdown! The two have lived together, enjoying many home projects and raising their beloved German shorthaired pointers, Hurley & Ranger. They enjoy exploring new towns, attending country concerts, snowmobiling and spending time with their family & friends. After 6 years of love and laughter, Cory popped the question on 8/16/25 at Avila Beach, in California! Their wedding will be the 16th wedding they have attended together! They are so excited to share their special day with you, celebrating their continued commitment to each other, and looking forward to the next chapters of their lives together!
