Charleston International Airport
This is the airport closest to the venue, located about 30 minutes away by car from downtown Charleston and 1 hour from Seabrook Island. Rideshares (both Uber and Lyft are popular) can be requested from the airport to either place, with prices ranging from $30-$50. If staying in a hotel in downtown Charleston, look for options with complimentary hotel pickup. We will arrange a shuttle to the wedding venue on Seabrook Island from downtown Charleston Sunday afternoon.

There are many hotels in the downtown Charleston area, ranging from well-known brands to small boutique lodgings. This is a great option for those who want to vacation in Charleston in addition to attending the ceremony. There is plenty to do from carriage rides, to ghost tours, to museums, to walking around and enjoying the history, colorful homes and waterfront. If you choose to stay downtown, try to look for hotels with complimentary airport pickup as the whole area is walkable, and there is little need for any extra transportation expenses (rental cars/rideshares etc)

There are plenty of rental properties on Seabrook Island for the wedding weekend. This is a great choice for those who are looking to vacation on a small beach towns with coastal activities (kayaking, swimming, laying out, horseback riding on the beach etc). There is no public transportation to the Island, so rental cars or rideshares are the only way to get there. However, once there, cars are optional, and most places are within walking distance. Bicycles are also available to rent. Therefore, if you choose to stay on the Island and not rent a car, the only additional fee to budget would be a rideshare to and from the airport. Freshfields Village nearby has a grocery store, clothing boutiques, ice cream stands, bars and restaurants.

A shuttle will pick up guests staying in downtown Charleston from a pre-arranged central location to be taken to the venue at Seabrook Island Club and return to the aforementioned location after the reception ends.
