We’re finally getting married! Most people who know us know that we have been friends for more than two decades. It took quite a while for us to go from friends to dating, though there were people who suspected we eventually would. And then it also took a while for us to go from dating to engaged. In January we went to Hawaii! Breanne had always wanted to go to Hawaii. While we were there, we spent an amazing day at Waimea Valley where we even got to swim in the falls. In the evening we hurried back to get ready for dinner. We went for an amazing dinner, where we said we were celebrating Devin’s birthday. At the end of dinner Devin said, “I thought we would celebrate something else” and popped the question. As you might guess, Breanne said yes. Of course in all the time we have been friends and all the time we have been dating, we have been through everything together, both good and bad. We have supported one another through some of the most difficult times and celebrated together in some of the best times. We have gone on amazing adventures together and made memories that will last a lifetime. We can’t wait to make more memories and enjoy many more adventures together. And we are so excited that we will now be doing it as husband and wife! We truly are each marrying our best friend. And we are thrilled you are going to be there with us to celebrate!
