COVID-19 UPDATES - PLEASE READ

The bride and groom, along with their families and Cypress Grove Estate House, have been actively monitoring the pandemic to ensure the safety of our loved ones. Cypress Grove has implemented cleaning and disinfecting procedures outlined by the CDC. Additionally, Cypress Grove requires all staff to wear masks at all times while interacting with guests. All additional vendors will be required to wear masks throughout the evening. Masks will be provided upon entry and will be mandatory during the ceremony and on the shuttles for all guests. Hand sanitizer will be available at several locations. Guests are encouraged to wash hands often. Additionally, we ask that if you have a temperature or do not feel well that you refrain from attending our wedding. There will be a virtual option available; if you would feel more comfortable attending in this capacity, please let Shelbee or Justin know. Ceremony seating has been revised to socially-distanced groups of 2 rather than in the traditional long rows. Reception table assignments will focus on grouping together families from the same households. We look forward to celebrating with you and hope these accommodations help ease any anxieties you may have about attending our event. Shelbee + Justin

The Story of Us

Justin and I met at Conway Middle School in 2006. We were entering the 6th grade, both on the same "team" with a lot of the same classes on our schedule. I can still, to this day, remember meeting Justin for the very first time. Justin broke his leg shortly before school started and was in a wheel-chair during his recovery. During the "Meet-the-Teacher" event, I was introduced to Justin and was gladly offered up to help him with whatever he may need throughout the week. (I remember thinking that he was way too cute and I was going to be extremely nervous if he decided to ask me for my help). Our friendship continued from 2006-2012. In 2009, Justin and I shared a locker during our freshman year at Boone High School. In 2010, Justin and I were Polyester Paradise Partners for the infamous Polyester Dance. In the Spring of 2012, Justin stayed with my family during Spring Break at New Smyrna Beach - I remember trying to avoid him as much as possible because I wasn't ready to admit there were feelings there. By the Summer of 2012, I knew things were changing. Sweet Justin threw me a surprise birthday dinner with all of my/our friends in December and at this point I was all-in. On January 11th, 2013, Justin asked "When are you going to let me be your boyfriend?” We dated throughout college, both graduating from the University of Central Florida. We purchased our home in April of 2019 and by October 2019, with a total of 6 years and 9 months under our belt of dating, we were engaged. Justin asked me to marry him on the lake that his family lives on but the lake that our friendship and relationship grew on. We are so excited to get married surrounded by our families and friends. See you all in December 2020!
