Although neither of us thought we would meet our person on a dating app, it turns out that's just the introduction we needed. Beecher was drawn to Morgan's beautiful smile and outgoing personality, and Morgan was hooked on a picture of Beecher smiling on the dance floor, referring to him as 'the Happy Guy' to her friends. After deciding the dating app wasn't for her and accidentally ignoring a message from Beecher for 3 days, Morgan sent one last message to 'the Happy Guy,' telling him everything he needed to know about her. Turns out, Beecher shared many of the same interests, hobbies, and general outlooks on life. As a response, Beecher asked Morgan out for drinks the upcoming Wednesday at an adorable wine bar in Hyde Park called Unwind. Beecher was a nervous wreck on Wednesday, although Morgan could not tell at all - she just thought he was handsome and smelled nice. For Beecher, it was love at first sight. They spent the evening drinking rose and connecting over a shared love of music, family histories of art, places they wanted to travel, and surprising mutual friends. Halfway through the date, Morgan told Beecher she liked him and asked him on a second date for two days later... to meet her friends at a birthday party. And the rest is history. It was the best (and last) first date either of them ever had.
