Here are some options for travel! We searched for some options in the general vicinity and here are a few that caught our eye! It all just depends on what you are looking for :)
CA has lots of variety, so if you are looking at being close to the water, Oceanside and Carlsbad are about a 35ish min drive. If you are looking for a winery feel, Temecula is your best bet! Escondido is in-between our venue and San Diego, it's slightly closer than the beach towns but still offers a wide of affordable hotels and a variety if restaurants and breweries.
