Question

Why are the bride and groom making me go all the way to Colorado for their wedding?

Answer

We understand that anyone attending our wedding will be doing a bit of traveling to do so. While we are both from Ohio, we also have family scattered across the US and no matter where we had the ceremony there was going to be a bit of travel for everyone. So with that in mind we are taking advantage of our new home and and all its beauty/uniqueness for our ceremony and hope everyone that attends will enjoy taking in the city and the surrounding mountains.

Are children allowed?

Answer

Although it may be inconvenient for our friends and family with children, we would prefer our event to be adults only. We would like to think any parents attending will be able to relax and have more fun without having to watch their children throughout the evening, as well as making it easier on them for travel. If your children are old enough to not be watched over (16+), we are more than happy to have you bring them along.

Should I bring my wallet to the wedding?

Answer

While there is nothing you will have to pay for at the wedding we would like to note that Colorado has VERY strict alcohol laws; even if you are in your 50's your ID will be asked for when you order your first drink. However, you will be given a wrist band for all future drinks to make things easier.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Can I wear jeans to the wedding?

Answer

No. Although everyone is not required to dress to the nines, we would still like everyone to dress up to a respectable degree. Think Cocktail or Business Casual. Except Grandpa Ben, he can wear whatever he wants :)

I did not see a food option on my RSVP, can I make a request?

Answer

Our reception is going to have multiple stations set up for people to choose from. We know we have friends and family that are vegetarian, vegan, and have food allergies; all of this has gone into consideration with our food options and we are confident there will be something for everyone to enjoy. In addition, if anyone would like to inquire about a sample menu, we are more than happy to supply one to alleviate any concerns.

Is there a restroom at the ceremony site.

Answer

Yes. However, due to it being a park, the restrooms are limited to public porta potties. We suggest using the facilities where you are staying before heading to the ceremony :)
