When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We need to have our final guest count to our planner and caterer by September 15th, 2025. We ask everyone to please RSVP via the link on our website. We have such bad ADHD, please don't make us keep track of mail.

Where do I go?

Answer

Weaver House is located at 56 N Main Street in Weaverville, North Carolina. The house is surrounded by a fence of bamboo and is easy to miss at first glance; please keep your eyes peeled as parking is behind the venue! Weaver House is in compliance with ADA accessibility regulations. If any further accessibility needs are required please reach out.

Where should I park?

Answer

Parking is located behind the venue on Georgia Ave. Guests may leave their cars overnight until 12pm the following day UNLESS there is a scheduled event. This detail will be updated if an event is booked and an earlier vehicle removal time is required. Asheville/Weaverville does have Lyft, Ubers and Taxis. These are often available however, during high season, wait times can be long. We suggest pre-scheduling rides.

What time should I get there?

Our ceremony begins at 5 o'clock, so we invite guests to arrive starting at 4:30pm as that is when Weaver House staff will be available to assist with parking.

What do I wear?

Answer

We are looking forward to hosting you in semi-formal attire. We'd love to see some earth tones, florals, or any look that gives Tolkien style fantasy. As Thomas likes to say "cozycore Rivendell." Please avoid green, navy blue, and lilac. Our ceremony will be outdoors, weather permitting. Please see our weather FAQ so you can decide what level of comfort you require in the cooler months.

What is the weather like?

Answer

November in the Asheville area has historically been cooler. With an average high of 60º and a low of 35º. Typically, November is not incredibly rainy, but we suggest preparing for cooler weather attire and activities.

Can I bring a date? How about my kids?

Answer

While we wish we could accommodate everyone, we are only able to include those listed directly on the invitations. We love kids, this will be an adult only event and thus we will only be allowing space for those listed directly on your invitation. Should you need childcare we can provide you with recommended sitters in the area.

I have an allergy; will I be able to eat?

Answer

Weaver House catering will be able to accommodate allergies or dietary needs. When you RSVP please note any restrictions you may have in your reply.
