There are a couple salons close to the hotel location in Golden. The Hair Lounge Wyld Roots Salon Phenix Salon Suites I have personally not been to these studios so I highly encourage doing a bit of Google research and see which of these you would like best. (I haven’t even gotten a haircut since I moved to Colorado 😮 so I do not have a vetted stylist that I go to.)
Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to the ceremony (2:45-2:50p) in order to ensure everything starts on time and doesn’t go late. We wouldn’t want a late start to impact shuttle bus services to the reception.
There will not be shuttle bus services for the ceremony. Shuttle bus will be from the hotel to the reception venue. Shuttle bus will arrive at Hampton Inn Denver-West/Golden at 4:15p and will head up to Crystal Rose at 4:30p or once full. If the shuttle bus gets full, it will head up to the venue and come back for a second round of pick up (or even a third if needed). At the end of the night, the shuttle bus will arrive at 10p to bring guests back down to the hotel. The shuttle will be making round trips until midnight.
Yes. We have worked out with the hotel that guests can park in their parking lot in order to use the shuttle services.
Ceremony: There is a parking lot and street parking available at the church. Reception: There is space in front of the venue and ample street parking available at the reception venue should you choose to forgo shuttle services. Please be aware if you choose to forgo the shuttle, there is little to no cell phone reception near the venue. The venue, Crystal Rose, does have wifi. There is also no street lighting and pretty high up in the mountains, so please only choose to drive yourself if you are comfortable with these conditions.
As much as we would love to have everyone join, the reception venue, Crystal Rose, has limited space. If a name or “guest” was not indicated on your invitation, we will not be able to accommodate additions.
If your invitation indicated “The ____ Family” we are welcoming your children. If your invitation did not indicate “The ______ Family” and just had your names, we unfortunately cannot accommodate all children.
We welcome children to come join on the dance floor and enjoy the night with the adults, but please supervise your children if you are bringing them. Weather permitting, we will also be setting up yard games in the outside fenced backyard area.

We will have an open bar at the reception. Please be aware that the venue is at a high altitude. While we know all our guests will be responsible, we feel it is important to note that drinking at altitude can increase the effect of alcohol. Rule of thumb 1 drink at altitude=2 drinks at sea level. We will also be making this announcement before drinking begins to remind everyone.
