Hi everyone! It's Lexi, (before I get started I am not pregnant! Drew and I bought a house together and we were excited to move in with each other so we thought why not get married sooner!) I wanted to tell Drew and I story. We first met at a young adult group at Eagle brook Church on January 30th, 2023. I went with my friend Gwen and Drew with his friend Tj. Gwen and I knew Tj from our previous horse farm. At the end of that night Drew was very proud and tried impressing me with being able to remote start his brand new truck from his phone(I was unimpressed). The next day January 31st was the snowmobile races in our area. Drew, Tj, me, and Gwen went. Drew's way of flirting was taking my heated gloves on that day(clearly it worked). Fast forward to February 11th, 2023; we went on our first date. Typical me fashion I took Drew on his first horse trail ride. Next comes April 20th, 2023 where Drew asked me to be his girlfriend. We went fishing together on May 7th, 2023, that was the day Drew said he knew he was going to marry me because my favorite thing while I am fishing is taking the fish off the fishing hook. So every time Drew caught a fish on that day and still to this day I run to take the fish off the hook. From there on out comes many other milestones including lots of fishing, horseback riding, hockey games, cabin trips, concerts, and much more. That brings me to January 31st, 2026, almost exactly 3 years after we met for the first time, Drew asked me to marry him. All in all I knew that God was intentional of where and when our paths crossed each other and we wouldn't have wanted it any other way!
