FAQs

Question

How many guests will be attending?

Answer

We’re excited to celebrate with our families and closest friends. We expect around 120 people to join us on March 12th.

Question

Do I need to wear a mask?

Answer

We know that not everyone may want to wear a mask at our wedding, but we completely respect those who do. We won’t be providing masks for guests, though, so if you do want to wear one, please bring your own.

Question

Will there be any vaccine or testing requirements to attend?

Answer

At this point in the global pandemic, we trust you to exercise your own discretion. We won’t be asking for proof of vaccination or negative test results from guests. If you want to stay home to stay safe, come to the wedding and wear a mask or distance or stick to outdoor spaces at the Club, or party down on the dance floor in the ballroom, we’ll respect your choice! The bride and groom are both naturally immunized (bittersweetly) and fully vaccinated and boosted. Thank you for celebrating our marriage however you feel most comfortable. If you feel sick before the big day, please let Jordan know at jkyle217@gmail.com or 203-253-4495 and stay home to keep others safe.

Question

How will food and drinks be served?

Answer

We’ll have a full open bar from cocktail hour through the end of the reception. Dinner will be served at stations with assigned tables to enjoy your food.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors on the back lawn overlooking the marsh. The ceremony will be tented in the event of inclement weather. The cocktail hour will be in the ballroom foyer and at the outdoor bar. The reception will be held in the ballroom with the foyer and outdoor bars open all night.

Question

How do I get to the wedding venue? Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Please arrange your own transportation to the Daniel Island Club. Free parking is available in the parking lot to the right of the club entrance. Shuttle recommendations are provided on the Travel page.

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30pm. Please arrive at the club no later than 4:15pm to park, walk, and find a seat!

Question

When will the reception end?

Answer

The bar will close at 9:30pm and the reception will end at 10:00pm. Don’t forget to spring forward! Daylight savings time begins on March 13th.
