We met at Oklahoma State University during the Fall semester of our Junior year. We were in two of the same classes and became "study partners." Study partners turned into a friendship, which led us on many dinner dates, watching the sunset, and taking Paisley on walks around the lake. From here, the rest is history and we have never looked back.

We were on our "graduation trip" to Anchorage, Alaska to visit family and relax after finishing school in December. We had many fun activities planned such as deep sea fishing, yurt camping, and hiking. However, Peyton's idea of relaxing had some unexpected turns. On Saturday, May 13th, we had planned to visit a waterfall. We were all dressed up to go a fancy restaurant so it made for the perfect moment. We set off on the trail for the waterfall, in a DRESS mind you, once we reached the waterfall we began taking pictures as normal. I happened to look away from Peyton for one moment, then everything changed forever. We will never forget that moment and the joy it brought, as well as the look on Peyton's face when we began to slip on the ice with the ring in his hand. Definitely one of our favorite chapters in our book with many more to come!
