Minneapolis Sculpture Garden – Home of the iconic Spoonbridge and Cherry. Mill City Ruins Park – Beautiful riverside views and historic mill ruins. Stone Arch Bridge – A must-see for photos and skyline views. Guthrie Theater – Even if you’re not seeing a show, the Endless Bridge-overlook is stunning and free. 🛍 Shopping & Local Finds North Loop– Boutiques, restaurants, and trendy shops. Mill City Farmers Market (seasonal, Sat AM) – Local food and crafts.

Minneapolis Skyway SystemMinneapolis Skyway System

Downtown Minneapolis Skyway is an excellent way to get around the city area businesses, hospitality, shopping, sports arenas, entertainment and banking. This walkway has it all! It’s a great alternative to walking in the streets in extreme hot and cold weather. Very clean and temperature set just right anytime of the year. The map (see attached) will lead you to wherever you want to go. Connects and links you with hotels, buses and trains too! Great for walkers as you can put some serious steps in if you do the whole thing. Portions could be closed after hours or on weekends. You’ll need to check the website to see what sections are open and timings.

To get there, there are free shuttle buses from more than 50 hotels and the airport; the light rail will also take you directly to and from downtown Minneapolis

Back in 2018, Lutunji met with the Pastor of an historic church in South Minneapolis to discuss launching a Charter School for teen parents she developed in partnership with her organization, Voices of Effective Change, GBC. Lutunji blessed him with her signature peach cobbler as a sign of respect and gratitude. He took one bite, and Lutunji’s Palate was born.
