Every good story has an opening line. Ours just happened to start with Angela running late. By the time she finally showed up, Matt had already convinced himself he was being punked. Somehow, instead of calling it a night, he decided to wait just a little longer. We'd like to say the rest was fate, but honestly, it was probably equal parts good timing, great dumplings, and discovering that neither of us knows how to be casually competitive once there's a scoreboard involved. Since that first date, we've collected our fair share of stories: weekend adventures, spontaneous road trips, late night takeout, celebrating the big moments, laughing through the unexpected ones, and finding new ways to challenge each other just for fun. It turns out our favorite chapter wasn't the one where we met. It's every chapter we've written together since. Now we're turning the page to the biggest chapter yet, and getting to share it with the people who have shaped our lives means more than we can put into words.
