5th St Market is one of our favorite date night destinations! Check out the beautiful art, flowers, and local shops and sit down outside with a plate of the best greek food in Eugene !
Tasty Thai Kitchen
We live in Corvallis, but still make the hour long drive to Eugene simply for this Thai food. We have never found any other restaurant that can compare. Our favorite dishes include : White Pad Thai, Avocado Curry, Pad See-Ew, Garlic Ginger Wraps, and the Thai iced tea!
Cornucopia Restaurant
Want a taste of Eugene? Enjoy this fun burger and bar joint with a chill atmosphere, local brews, and killer eats. We highly recommend a blue cheese burger with fries and lemonade! (get it spiked too)
Prince Pucklers Ice Cream
Order a Euphoria Chocolate Sundae with your choice of locally made ice cream! This outstanding ice cream joint usually has lines going out it’s doors. Inside you will see pictures of President Obama’s visit to this famous attraction as well as an array of unique flavors and treats. Not an ice cream fan? Stop right next door at Sweet Life Patisserie and try any one of its delectable sweets. The cheesecake and pies are our favorite.
The David Minor Theater
Go early and snag the couch! It’s a hop skip and a jump from 5th Street Public Market and caters in food from Cornucopia, so if you want to catch a movie and some dinner after wandering around, check this place out! It’s very informal, but popular among locals.
Mount Pisgah Arboretum
This moderately intense hike is flat out gorgeous. Walk or swim down along the Willamette river or make the climb to Pisgah’s summit. Looking for something a little easier but still equally as gorgeous ? (if not more enclosed by trees and nature) Drive over to Spencer Butte! This is our personal favorite climb and view.
Spencer Butte Trailhead
Or just, “the butte” as the locals call it. This is our favorite hike in Eugene! Stunning views, forestry trails, and an easy to moderate summit.
