Do I need a passport or visa to enter Ghana?

Do I need any vaccinations to enter Ghana?

Answer

YES, yellow fever vaccine is required to enter the country.

The recommended hotel seems pricey. Can we stay somewhere else?

Of course! These are just recommendations, I prefer Airbnb when I stay in Accra.

Do I have to pay for the events?

Answer

YES! Participation in events and meals, outside of the reception, is each guest responsibility and not the Bride and Groom.

Is Transportation provided?

Answer

We will be providing transportation from Accra to Elmina (roundtrip) only, so you must be ready to depart on the days that are scheduled for the group. If you prefer to travel separately that is fine.

What is the requested wedding attire for the ceremony?

Answer

Beach formal attire No jeans, sneakers or t-shirts. Suggested Attire: For Women Dresses: Flowy maxi dresses, midi dresses, or elegant jumpsuits in chiffon, silk, or light cotton. Colors & Patterns: Embrace bright colors, pastels, and floral prints; avoid white/cream. Fabrics: Chiffon, silk, organza, or light lace. Footwear: Wedges, block heels, or embellished flat sandals are great for sand; stilettos are not recommended. Accessories: A light shawl or wrap for breeze, statement jewelry. For Men Suits: Light-colored suits (tan, light blue, gray) in linen, seersucker, or lightweight wool. Shirts: Crisp long-sleeve dress shirts (roll sleeves if hot). Ties: Optional; opt for lightweight silk, linen, or cotton. Footwear: Dress shoes, loafers, or refined leather shoes (no sandals). Accessories: Pocket square, dress watch; consider sunglasses and a tasteful beach hat.

Can I bring my kids?

If you can pay for them, yes! We just ask that are well behaved and do not interrupt with the ceremony or reception activities.
