FAQs

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

With love guiding every part of this day, we’ve chosen to keep our guest list close and intentional. We kindly ask that only the guests listed on your invitation attend. Thank you for honoring this with us.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones dearly, but due to limited space and the timing of our celebration, we have chosen to make our wedding primarily adults-only. We hope this allows you to relax and enjoy a special night out with us. Children who are specifically named on the invitation are warmly invited. Thank you for your kindness and understanding as we celebrate our day

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly ask that we receive your RSVP by May 10th. This gives us ample time to allow for any unavoidable emergencies or anything of the sort

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please join us in cocktail attire. Guests are encouraged to wear cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or suits. We kindly ask that jeans, shorts, and casual wear be left at home.

Question

Can I wear white?

Answer

Our desire is for all of our guests to feel comfortable and enjoy the evening without any unnecessary mishaps. While we appreciate everyones individual style and fashion choices, we kindly request that guests refrain from wearing white attire on our special day. We’re planning a joyous occasion filled with merriment, and we want everyone to feel at ease, knowing that accidents happen. So, to fully ensure that all guests can relax and fully immerse themselves in the festivities, we kindly ask that you choose a dress that does not include white

Question

I am coming from out of town, where do I stay?

Answer

We did not arrange a room block, but there are plenty of wonderful hotel and Airbnb options within a 20-minute drive of the venue. Please plan ahead for a safe trip home and consider using a designated driver.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding ceremony is outside and the reception will be held in the barn. As long as Michigan weather cooperates with us, the doors on the barn will be open for an in/out reception

Question

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Answer

We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos or videos during the ceremony. We have a professional photographer and videographer capturing the moment so you can be fully present and enjoy it with us. Otherwise we would love for you to take photos and share them wherever you like. Be on the look out for a way to share your memories with us!!

Question

What do I drive?

Answer

In celebration of love and style, we encourage you to arrive in your finest ride and help us make this wedding unforgettable
