Question

How did they meet?

Answer

Angela's best friend Ethan swiped right for Nate on her Hinge while saying "he's 6"3', he went to Penn State and he's Jewish... we're swiping right." Their first date was at American Whiskey in New York City. Angela really wished it was the 3rd/4th date so she could ask him to bring her some snacks from the networking event he was coming from. Nate thought Angela might be moonlighting as a journalist by the way she spoke but, as he predicted, the Basil Hayden brought her back to neutral. That night's conversation was the easiest either of them ever had. They've spoken every day since.

Question

What time is transportation offered for each event?

Answer

On Friday evening, shuttles for all will depart the front of the EAST Hotel beginning at 6:30pm. There are two shuttles that will continue to make trips but we'd ideally like to knock it out in two rounds! Brickell House is very close to the EAST Hotel. About a 3 minute drive/10-12 minute walk. On Saturday, all shuttles to the PAMM will depart the EAST Hotel at 6:30pm, sharp. Beginning at 11:30pm and through the duration of the reception, shuttles will be available from the PAMM to take guests back to the EAST Hotel.

Question

What's "Floral Formal"?

Answer

For our Welcome Reception, please don't feel obligated to wear floral prints if that's not your vibe! We would just love to have a really bright and colorful feel to the night and thought this was a fun way to describe the dress code! Attire should be as though you're attending a dinner at a nice dinner in Miami. Angela's dress is 3/4 length so either something short or long will work, whichever your preference! For the men, Nate is wearing a suit, loafers and no tie. That is AS dressed as anyone should feel they "need" to be. Email becomingthekimels@gmail.com with any additional questions! A note from the Groom: "Think Havana Nights!"

Question

What is the dress code for the Wedding?

Answer

Black tie.

Question

Why are the stamps upside-down on the invitations?

Answer

A good friend of ours recently shared the language of stamps that goes back to the Victorian Era. We thought this was such an interesting detail to incorporate into our invitations. Stamps that are flipped upside down mean "I love you," and we love you all!
