The dress code for the event is rustic wedding casual. The outdoor ceremony will be followed by a cocktail hour and a reception held in the barn and outside. Acceptable attire includes sundresses, khakis, nice shorts, non-graphic T-shirts, and jeans (please avoid ripped jeans). If you choose to wear a hat, ensure it does not obstruct anyone's view. Additionally, please refrain from wearing white or off-white.
Kids are more than welcome if they’re included on the invite! With that in mind, children under the age of 18 are your responsibility. Please know where your children are at all times and make sure they clearly understand the venue’s rules.
We have a block available at the Cobblestone Inn in Menomonie, WI. Call and mention the “Majetich/Hurtgen Wedding” block.
We will be renting a shuttle for the day! You don’t have to take a shuttle to the venue in order to take one back to a hotel. We encourage everyone to stay safe—please don’t drink and drive. The venue is available until noon on Sunday, you can leave your vehicle and pick it up in the morning.
Please only park in identified parking locations. Parking is available on the north side of the complex past the Barn. Handicap accessible parking spaces are provided next to the Barn.
Please show up at least 15 minutes early. That would give you enough time to park, make your way to the ceremony, and find a seat.
• Do not allow children by the pond alone. • We would greatly appreciate it if guests do not disturb plants, rocks, trees, or other natural gifts. • Please do not walk or step on flower beds. • Everyone must keep their shoes on at all times, there could be sharp objects across the grounds. • Smoking will only be permitted in the yard where ash-buckets are provided. • The speed limit on the property is 10 mph and strictly enforced for our safety.
You know how the bride traditionally has something blue for her big day? Well, we’ve decided to put a fun twist on that! Our Jr. Bridesmaids are going to be our something blue, giving them a special role to play. We can’t wait to celebrate with them!
