Our Love Story ‪♡

Courtney and Jennifer first met in 2020 at their local gym. It was 5:00AM, and Courtney, who's eyes were barely open, came and sat next to Jennifer. Jennifer had her eyes on Courtney for months, but could never grow the courage to say "hi." As Courtney sat down, Jennifer finally sparked up a conversation. They began to talk about their careers, where they were from and a little bit about themselves. Conversation ceased between the two, and they began to workout. It wasn't until Courtney and Jennifer were deep in their workout, performing an exercise known as the "frog thrust," that Jennifer decided to "spice things up." For those of you who do not know what a "frog thrust" is, you lay on your back, put the bottoms of your feet together, and thrust your hips upward. During the middle of this exercise, Jennifer looks over at Courtney, makes eye contact, pulls down her mask, and hits Courtney with a "well this is awkward!" It was then that Jennifer had Courtney's attention. Work and life got crazy, gym schedules changed, and Courtney and Jennifer had not seen or spoken to each other in a few months. What they both didn't know was, they were both trying to find each other. The search came to a stop when Courtney found Jennifer's Facebook. Immediately, Courtney sent the request and Jennifer approved. Eager to talk to Jennifer, Courtney messaged Jennifer to which they exchanged phone numbers and communicated for weeks. Some terrible pick up lines and jokes were definitely exchanged. Finally, they decided that it was time to hang out. Once Courtney and Jennifer hung out, they realized how much they had in common. They laughed, they talked, they ate Mexican food, they cooked dinner together almost every night and they went on several dates. January 25, 2021, after about 2 months of getting to know each other, Courtney asked Jennifer to be her girlfriend, and Jennifer happily accepted. Time passed as they dated, and Jennifer eventually moved into Courtney's house to be with Courtney and her beautiful Bull Mastiff, Athena. The two proceeded to build an entire empire together. Jennifer came into the house and redecorated literally EVERYTHING. They started traveling to different places together, met each others families and friends and even made a drunk decision to bring another beautiful Bull Mastiff named Armani into the family. Eventually, they started talking about forever together. December 10, 2022, the day of their annual family Christmas party in Saratoga Springs. Only this year, it was different, and Jennifer had no idea. It was there that Courtney was going to propose. However, Murphy's Law was a bitch. It started with their dog Athena rolling down the window, and almost jumping out of their moving car to get away from her annoying sister, Armani. Followed by Courtney being nervous as all hell, and spilling water and coffee on herself on the car ride there. Mind you, Courtney had this abnormally large box in her pocket that she was trying to keep hidden from Jennifer. Nothing like drawing unwanted attention to herself. After the two made it to their destination, Courtney was able to finally pass the ring off to Jennifer's sisters and take a breath. Thinking everything was finally in the clear, Jennifer then goes to the bathroom and breaks a nail on her brand new set of nails. (Jennifer made Courtney promise that whenever she proposed, Jennifer HAD to have a fresh set of nails on.) Thankfully, it wasn't on the left hand! The night carried on, and the time came where Courtney was going to propose. As Jennifer's sister told Jennifer she had a surprise for her, and made her close her eyes, Courtney grabbed the ring and got ready. When Jennifer opened her eyes and saw Courtney standing in front of her, a long with all attention on them, Jennifer was confused. It was there that Courtney got down on one knee, and asked the love of her life to marry her. Jennifer, with no questions asked said "yes," and the two families became one.
