The wedding will take place on October 25th, 2025 at 3pm at the David Girard Vineyard located at 741 Cold Springs Rd, Placerville, CA 95667.
The ceremony will begin at 3pm. There will be transportation provided by the venue to pick you up upon arrival at the parking lot to take you to the ceremony area. Please arrive no later than 2:45pm to ensure you are able to be seated before the ceremony begins, or you will sadly miss out on our ceremony.
We are having a "unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras), so we ask that you kindly put your phones and cameras away during the ceremony. We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us as we want you all to be present with us while we say "I Do"! After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like!
Given if the weather is on our side, the ceremony will be held outdoors. So please be sure to dress accordingly (bringing a light jacket may be advised, just in case). The cocktail hour will also be outside, but under a covered balcony. And the reception following will be indoors.
We kindly request that all guest dress in ALL BLACK cocktail attire. Cocktail attire for women are cocktail dresses (mid calf to ankle length), little black dress (mid calf to ankle length) and dressy jumpsuits. Cocktail attire for men are button up shirts, slacks and suit/sport jackets (white button up shirts for black suits are ok.) No jeans!
To help us with our planning, please RSVP as soon as possible! However, the deadline is September 15th. If we don't receive your RSVP by this date, we cannot make any exceptions and will have to mark you as "no". We need to provide the venue with a total guest count in a timely manner, we hope you can understand.
Due to limited space, we can only accommodate guests who are formally invited. If you've received the option of a plus one, they'll be specifically listed as an additional guest on your RSVP. Otherwise, we ask that only the named people in the RSVP invite are in attendance.
As much as we love your little ones, our wedding is exclusively for adults (21+), with the exception of immediate family who are part of our wedding party.
We can't wait to party with you! But we also want to ensure your safety in getting home or back to your hotel. So please keep this in mind; because of the fairly remote location of the venue, UBER or LYFT may not be readily available at the end of the night (10pm). If you plan to take any of these services to the venue, we strongly recommend scheduling your pick-up ahead of time. However, please keep in mind it is not a guarantee. We recommend carpooling with other guests where available, or for those out of town we recommend renting a car if it is an option for you!
We have reserved a limited room block at the Red Hawk Resort & Casino in Placerville. However, there are other hotels in the surrounding areas for your choosing. You can find some hotel recommendations along with our room block information under the "Travel" tab.
