We're Getting Married!

In early March of 2020 one of Matthew's coworker’s, Nellie, messaged both Emily and Matthew, saying she had someone for each other to meet. Nellie knows Emily through her husband, Rick, who is a coworker of Emily’s. Their first date was at the Dallas Zoo and then they went for dinner drinks in Bishop Arts. The date went so well that a couple of Emily’s friends began to text her worried because she had been out so late. Due to COVID, dating got a little more interesting after that. Since the normal date nights such as dinner and a movie weren't an option, dates consisted of walks in the park, playing Phase 10 or Yahtzee, and a lot of cooking at home. While simple, these times together allowed for deeper conversation, getting to know each other, and strengthened the bond between them quickly. It was easy falling in love with one another. It was something that just came naturally. Like that person you meet and immediately feel like you have know them your entire life.
