FAQs

We've tried our best to answer some common questions, but don't hesitate to reach out if you have any other questions!!
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than August 28, 2024. This is also the deadline for our special discount rate at the Holiday Inn - so make sure you're booked by then! Reach out to Chelsi or Matthew if you have any issues or questions.

Question

Are you registered anywhere?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding day is the greatest gift, but if you would like to help us go on our dream honeymoon to Playa Del Carmen, Mexico, please check out the Registry tab above!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We recommend a semi-formal attire for the wedding. Wear what makes you feel like a star!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We will be offering a discount code for those who would like to take an Uber ride between Holiday Inn and Greenpoint Loft.

Question

I want to see a Broadway show while I'm there. Where should I buy tickets?

Answer

We highly recommend using TodayTix to purchase tickets as they typically have the best pricing. They offer tickets for shows on Broadway, Off-Broadway, and more - and they let you choose your seats. We like to sit in the mezzanine of most shows, but if there are actors we really want to see up close we'll splurge for orchestra seats. If you're not sure where you want to sit for the best view, look up the theater name on aviewfrommyseat.com!

Question

What Broadway shows do you recommend?

Answer

You can't go wrong with most shows on Broadway, but we certainly have our favorites: Hadestown, Hamilton, Suffs, Six, and Illinoise (if it extends). Some fun and more interactive shows we've enjoyed are Drunk Shakespeare and any of the burlesque shows at Company XIV. Shows we haven't seen but have heard great things: Back to the Future, Hell's Kitchen, Moulin Rouge, & Juliet, Titanique, Little Shop of Horrors. A lot of the long-running Broadway shows like Wicked, Lion King, Aladdin, Chicago, and Book of Mormon are also great shows, just beware - tourist crowds aren't always the most pleasant audiences to be in.
