Our Story
Our story began in June 2021, when the Maid of Honour noticed we had a lot in common: supporting heartbreaking hockey teams (the Leafs and Penguins), watching Will Ferrell movies, and being professional students.
After days of talking and Ben's typical overthinking, he finally asked Megan on a first date. We met at the Burlington Waterfront, where Megan texted she was “standing by a trash can”—arguably Burlington’s most romantic landmark. We had an instant connection; the date was full of laughter and effortless conversation. By the end of the night, we both knew this was the start of something special.
Over the past five years, we've made countless memories together: exploring new cities and countries, attending NHL games, competing in cornhole and board games, and navigating not one, but two terrible Hamilton rentals. On a beautiful vacation in St. Martin, we took the next step: Ben proposed, Megan said yes, and the rest is history! We can't wait to celebrate our love with you all!
