Becoming the Batistas

We had our first date on February 7th, 2022 at Avanti in Denver, Colorado after matching on the dating app Bumble. Both of us arrived 20 mins early to beat the other to the bar for a pre-date jitters cocktail. After 2 hours of conversation and pizza, we both knew we wanted to see each other again. And so a week later, after 4 dates including pool, In N Out, and Ryans 1st Ave game, I (Heidi) asked HIM to be my boyfriend (I knew what I wanted, ok?!) Who knew that 4 years to the date of the first time we met, we would be getting MARRIED? After a year of dating, we made the jump and moved in together where we spent 2 unforgettable years building our bond, getting our children to get along (his human daughter, my canine son), and creating lasting memories together. We have grown into an unbreakable family full of love, affection, and happiness. We have traveled across state lines, oceans, and continents together creating a life full of gratitude and can’t wait for you all to join us as we take the next step of life together.
