When Justin and Kelly first met, it was 2016 and they were working at Landis Supermarket. Kelly was working on the front end, while Justin worked as a produce associate. When they first encountered, they didn't think they were destined to be together. However, after one busy evening, Kelly needed a bit of help - Justin came to her rescue and was the person to lend an ear and give her a helping hand. On May 16, 2016 was the start of their love story. That summer was spent going to amusement parks, concerts, endless bonfires - it was a summer of love. The following January, their love grew by 2 feet and 1 heartbeat. It was time to tackle the world as parents. In September of 2017, they had their first born, Dawson. It was at times difficult figuring things out as mom and dad, but as time went on it all got easier. They enjoyed making memories with their son - this included zoo and aquarium trips, summer vacations at OBX, and trips to many playgrounds. In February 2020, they moved into their first apartment where they made it their home. Then Covid hit and all they had was each other. They figured out a way to keep life entertaining with making crafts, to date nights at home, to exploring their new town. Life for them at this time was not easy - Justin and Kelly were each working a full time and part time job. By the summer of 2021, they were in a better place. They vacationed in OBX, where they announced that they were expecting a baby. They celebrated the end of being a family of 3 by going to Disney World for the first time in fall of 2021. It was a great way to commemorate that chapter in their life. In February 2022, they welcomed another little boy into their lives, Ethan. Once they found their rhythm as a family of four, they've been on the go ever since. The four of them enjoy creating memories to last a lifetime. Justin and Kelly have experienced a lot in the last 9 years. They've experience job changes, moving, car accidents, illnesses, surgeries, etc. Through the good, the bad, and the ugly they continue to choose each other. In the summer of 2024, they planned their first true family vacation. They drove, with their two boys, to Florida. The first stop of their trip was Disney World. It was August 7, 2024, they were in Disney's Hollywood Studios, where they were having a great time. It was starting to get late for the boys, they had just gone on their last ride . . . Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway. Justin had asked to speak with Dawson privately. After a few moments, Kelly and Ethan were called over to where they were standing. Justin got down on one knee and asked Dawson for the ring box . . .which fell over top of a drain. Once the box and ring were recovered, Dawson dropped it again on the same exact spot. Justin picked it up from there and proposed to Kelly. At that moment, the fireworks show had started. Kelly obviously said yes and the rest was history!
