Love is NOT Canceled!! New Date: October.25.2020

It was Friday, October 27, 2017 when Michael and Jessica first met at a mutual friends event. Michael sat next to Jessica and attempted to make small talk to a girl he had previously stalked on Facebook. He offered her a Coke - she declined and was not very receptive #LatinaAttitude. For the rest of the night Michael was left wondering if maybe she was more of a Pepsi person than a Coke person. In spite of his first failed attempt, Michael could not get Jessica off his mind as he had heard nothing but great things about her from a mutual friend (Thanks Paola!). Therefore, he took advice from a friend (Thanks Hawk) and reached out to her on Facebook offering to go out on a "coffee date" - The only problem was Jessica does not drink coffee.... and neither does Michael (Confusing - we know)! lol Long story short... a few chats, text messages and calls later she finally agreed on a first date. The first date went well, first stop Journey Church - Jessica was late (surprise, surprise), second stop TIN TACO for lunch and a nice walk around Lake Eola. Both Michael and Jessica felt like it was the most natural first date in the history of first dates...and from there the rest is history... Moral of the story...pursue girls who seem uninterested, offer to do something neither of you do, take her to church - pray that the first 2 steps somehow work out in your favor - feed her tacos and she's yours. <3

Michael flew Jessica to Atlanta, GA for a "random" weekend hiking trip. This was enough hint for Jessica - aka Sherlock Holmes Jr. aka Private eye Montes to start suspecting that Michael was up to something. The proposal was thought to be certainly confirmed when Jessica's best friends appeared and surprised her, upon arrival to Buckhead,GA, where they would be staying. Jessica was then certain "it" would then happen Saturday. Her hair, makeup and hiking outfit was made sure to be flawless - they hiked up a beautiful waterfall.....and nothing.. they visited a beautiful botanical gardens later in the day... and nothing... Dinner..nothing.. the night had ended and Jessica was then wondering if her private eye skills were failing her. Sunday morning came and it was time to leave.. but first it was decided we would do one last hike before heading to airport. Jessica - unprepared did not care much for it but agreed. It was then after a short hike to the waterfall that Michael asked and successfully surprised Jessica... and you're here reading this because she said "of course".

Dear Family & Friends, Over the past few months, We’ve all had to make some really hard decisions. Due to the ongoing pandemic, we have made a difficult decision to reduce our guest list dramatically to better ensure the safety of our family and guests and to adhere with social distancing guidelines. We invite you to attend our now smaller and fully outdoor ceremony and reception on Sunday, October 25, 2020. We will have about 70-80 guests and will be conducting temperature checks at entrance. We will have hand sanitizer stations throughout the venue. We will also be providing masks for those that want or need them. This is what the venue has to say in regards to COVID: “We are following strict guidelines for cleaning and disinfecting the estate. Bathrooms, door handles, hard services, tables chairs etc. are disinfected with a commercial grade disinfectant. We do place hand sanitizers out for guests to use. Our staff as well as catering staff will wear masks at all times. As far as social distancing goes we are adding additional space to the ceremony chair set up but seats are not placed 6ft apart. The buffet is a “served” buffet so guests are not serving themselves and touching the food on the buffet line. We are limiting 2 tables at a time to go through the buffet line. We will do passed Hors d’ oeuvres instead of having guests serve themselves as well as open the reception area during the cocktail hour to allow guests to be outside as well as inside the house and allow for more distancing. We will also be adding a second bar outside as well to promote distancing.” Please note; If you cannot attend or do not feel comfortable attending we are completely understanding and respecting that decision.
