FAQs

Question

When should I expect my invitation in the mail?

Answer

We will be mailing out official invitations in the beginning of February 2021.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

As soon as possible but the latest March 5th, 2021.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! We are registered on Amazon, Bed Bath and Beyond, and Target. Click on our registry tab for more information.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The ceremony is outside on the grass, so stilettos are not recommended. Beach formal wear is recommended. Long, elegant gowns or something similar for women and traditional suit and tie for men.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Free parking is available for 8 blocks. Please keep in mind that there is limited space closest to the venue.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 5:00pm but we strongly recommend being there 30 minutes prior.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

No children, please. We love your kids. However, we want you to be able to enjoy the evening without worrying. Obviously, if you are travelling from out of town, we welcome your kids. Please be advised, the venue is right by the water with no railing.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Unfortunately, the van provided by the hotel is currently not running due to covid. You will need to use your own transportation to and from the venue.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and guest,” then yes, if not, then we would prefer it was just you due to limited seating.

Question

When should I book my hotel?

Answer

If you choose to book at the Staybridge with the rest of the wedding party, the sooner you can book, the better. That will give us time to see if we need to add rooms to our block. You can find the booking deadline and rates on our travel page.

Question

Are face mask required at the wedding and/or reception?

Answer

A wedding is a special event that only happens once and we don’t want you to miss it due to covid worries. Of course we want our guest to be comfortable. We are leaving the decision to wear a mask up to each individual. If you are more comfortable wearing a mask, we encourage you to do so. Please keep in mind that there will be folks that will not be wearing a mask. We always recommend social distancing any time you feel it is necessary. Hand Sanitizer will also be available throughout the venue.
