Question

What will the dress code be?

Answer

We are hoping for somewhere between cocktail and formal attire (a suit, slacks and a dress shirt, a pantsuit, dress pants or a skirt and blouse, or a dress are all acceptable options). The venue is a greenhouse, so it will be a little warm and humid. Our wedding colors are shades of dark green, blush pink, charcoal gray, and copper if you would like to coordinate, but it is definitely not necessary.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than March 24th so that we have time to finalize the count with the vendors.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony and when does it end?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 7 PM. Please arrive 15-20 minutes before to ensure you are seated comfortably before the ceremony begins. All festivities will conclude at 10:45 pm.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

While we would love to accommodate “plus ones” for everyone, unfortunately our budget and venue capacity are limited. We request that only those listed on the invitation and RSVP are in attendance and humbly thank you for your understanding.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love children, but due to limitations in our budget and venue, we are limiting the attendance of children to close family members only. We appreciate your understanding and hope you will enjoy having a night out without the wee ones.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please make sure to include any food allergies and/or preferences in your RSVP form. We will do everything we can to accommodate your needs and contact you directly if we run into an issue with what the caterer is able to provide.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a free parking lot at Cactus and Tropicals that is large enough to accommodate everyone.

Is there transportation to and from the hotel and wedding?

Answer

We have not hired specific transportation to and from the wedding/reception location. Please be safe and call for a taxi, Uber, or Lyft or have a designated driver if you will be drinking. We will have a list of recommended hotels that are close to the venue so you don’t have to go far.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

As we are both established with all of the things we need, we will not be doing a traditional registry. Your attendance and well wishes are all that we hope for. Should you still desire to give a gift, we will have a “future house fund” listed on this website where you can give a gift of any amount toward helping us pay a down payment for a home of our own.

What is the address of the wedding and reception venue?

Answer

The wedding ceremony and reception dinner will both be held in the same location. The address is 12252 Draper Gate Drive in Draper, UT.

Will the events be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Everything will be held indoors. The venue is a greenhouse, so it will be a little warmer and more humid than a standard reception hall if you’d like to plan accordingly.

We will be serving champagne, wine, and beer from 8 pm until 10:30 pm.

Can I take photos at the wedding?

Answer

We have hired a professional photographer to capture the day and hope that you will choose to be fully present during the ceremony. During the reception, please feel free to take pictures. We only ask that you avoid sharing anything on social media until after we have shared first. We would love if you will tag us in the photos with #meetthemclaughlins2025 and/or send them to us directly by text, email, or Facebook messenger.
