I (Jordan) was in my second semester of undergrad having a really tough time in school. Although not an original love story it was truly perfect for us. We found each other online where he proceeded to ask me out to breakfast. Being the scaredy cat, I am I said "NO, I don't know you" *Que the Laughter*. We then proceeded to be friends and one day he asked me out on a date again saying he liked me. This time however I said "YES". Even though it was a rocky first date it only made us stronger and now we are so excited to share this wonderful time with you all and become husband and wife!
God I (Jordan) have waited for this day for so long. I honestly never thought it was going to happen. Ben kept talking about how his gift was so amazing. I didn't think much of it till my mom said I would love it. I remember my mom trying not to spill the beans. We were in Walmart, and I just so happened to look at her hand where my grandma Rhode's ring should have been. To my surprise it wasn't there! I then knew something was going to happen but wasn't sure when. On Christmas eve in front of close friends and family due to Covid-19 he proposed to me! I even though was expecting it was still nervous and shaking. I said "yes" and jumped right into planning a wedding to remember! Later that night my mom told me he asked when we went to our favorite pumpkin patch Sunnyside Gardens for their permission to marry me. He may deny he was crying but according to my mom he did and just the thought of the interaction and everything he has done for me since shows I am marrying the man of my dreams!
