(Told by Alex) Jessica and I met in 2013 at her best friend's Nicole's college graduation party. I heard that Nicole was bringing Jessica whom I had never met. During the party, I was enjoying a plate of pulled pork, and out of nowhere a girl that I had never seen before came up and grabbed a piece right off of my plate. I take food seriously, and this took me by surprise. However, when I looked up and saw Jessica for the first time, I was not at all upset. We hit it off immediately! From that moment on Jess and I spent almost every day getting to know each other. To this day, she is still the girl who steals food from my plate, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I am overjoyed to know that that I will be spending forever with Jessica.

I have known that I wanted to marry Jessica for quite a while. When I finally decided to pop the question, my goal was to make it a proposal she would never forget. I spent my long drives home from work coming up with ideas that would be both from the heart and original. I finally decided on creating a video that incorporated our family and closest friends all while highlighting some of the most memorable places we’ve visited throughout our five year relationship. Needless to say, with the help of the closest people in our lives and running around secretly, I got all the footage I needed (Thanks, Ashley). A videographer put each videoclip to our favorite song and brought my vision to life! Finally, I worked with a local restaurant to display the video on a stadium like screen during what Jess thought was just only our anniversary dinner. As Jessica watched, the videographer captured the unforgettable moment. After dinner, all of our friends and family waited to surprise her with champagne and hugs.
