Once Upon a Time.... Two people walked into a church not realizing it would change their lives forever. One, in the midst of law school, and the other, a teacher and newcomer to the young adults small group. The future lawyer saw the teacher across the room and recognized her from their young days at school, but it was when he heard her laugh that he felt his heart stirring, as if time stopped just for him. Looks passed back and forth between the two, hoping the other remembered who it was across the room. While neither could quite pick up the courage to speak that night, the teacher decided to send a message to the future lawyer the next day. What happened next could only be the work of two things - the Lord and the magic of true love. As days passed, the future lawyer and teacher shared memories and monumental moments in time that drew them together, weaving their story closer and closer until one day, the future lawyer didn't want the teacher as his girlfriend anymore. He wanted her to be his wife. So he went on a quest, inquiring after the teacher's parents for their blessing, spending hours picking out the perfect ring, and planning the most magical night of their lives to ask the important question he had been dying to ask. So, on a beautiful evening at Stumpy Lake, the future lawyer asked the teacher to marry him, to choose him, and to spend happily ever after together for the rest of their lives. The teacher, with tears in her eyes, said YES to the future lawyer, and they shared a romantic evening on the beach with a kiss at sunset. Their Happily Ever After begins on January 3, 2026........
