"I picked up Kylah at 11 AM, on our way there I played play the playlist that I had put together of all of the songs that reminded me of the woman that I would one day marry on the way there. Kylah and I sang along and had an awesome time. When we were about 3 hours into the drive when the road started getting greener, we ended up entering into a mountains and I texted Kylah's friend and Maid of Honor, Charmaine to tell her we were only an hour and 15 minutes away. We turned up and worship together, we felt the presence of God so strongly in the car, being reminded of His promises and that we were about to step into the greatest promise He has given us yet. I could feel how proud God was of us. We got to our destination and we walked in towards this inside the big green cave-like pathway. We got to this specific spot by the cliff and I played the song that we both loved to dance to & I sang to her as we danced. I told her to turn around and look into the oceans, I told her the revelation God had given me long ago and told her that in this place God showed me and reminded me of that same thing when we went through a hard season. That even though all the promises seemed as though they were drowned & I couldn’t see it anymore the promise was still there just as the borders are submerged in water and you can’t see them you still know that the boulders are there because they do not move. So does the promises God had given to us. This is it. I told her to keep looking out into the ocean and got on one knee I took out the ring that I work so hard for. I told her to turn around. A big smile & tears rolled down her face as she saw me on one knee. So I asked Kylah will you marry me? She replied with “yes a million times yes!” and that’s when Charmaine came out and we took amazing pictures. When we got back to the car I got her roses & the book I wrote to my future wife last year... the book I wrote before I even knew Kylah. This is it." - Jose Byron De Leon
